Biography

As an experienced tutor, I have always believed in developing individualized plans and meeting every student where they are in their work, study habits, and time management. I think every student has strengths and skills that they haven’t developed yet. I like to help students understand that, rather than labeling certain subjects or material as weaknesses. I do my best to avoid categorizing any particular subject as a weakness, particularly at a younger age, as these can stick in a student’s mind and deter them from doing their best work. I am always excited to work alongside students and parents to foster a productive and promotive environment for us to all grow together.

I’m a graduate from Vanderbilt University and a current doctoral student in the PAU-Stanford PsyD Consortium. I am currently working on my doctorate in clinical psychology, because I am a true people person and helping others makes me tick. Similar to my work in school, I am passionate about developing skills and habits that will help support students and allow for further growth and independence.

Outside of the tutoring space, I am a recent transplant to the area (originally from Dallas, Texas) so I have enjoyed getting to know the area and the wonderful nature around me. I also love watching sports (I root for all Dallas professional teams), working out, and watching reality competition TV shows like Survivor.

Happy Parents and Students

"The reason I would be likely to recommend him is because he makes things easier to understand. Even when I get a question wrong, he is willing to work through it with me and hear me out on how I solved things and what exactly I did wrong. "
