Biography

Teaching has always felt natural to me. Whether it was helping classmates through tricky math problems in school or explaining concepts to younger family members at home, I’ve found joy in breaking down complex ideas and seeing the spark of understanding light up in others. Over the years, this passion has grown through my experiences working with students of all ages and backgrounds, reinforcing my belief in the power of education to inspire confidence and open doors.

I graduated from UCLA, where my academic journey taught me the importance of adaptability and problem solving — skills I bring into every tutoring session. My tutoring experience ranges from working with K-10 students in math at the Russian School of Mathematics to supporting college students with calculus, biology, and psychology.

Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of helping high school students with SAT and SAT subject test preparation. These opportunities have taught me how to tailor my approach to meet each student’s individual needs and to find creative ways to keep learning engaging and accessible. I believe education is about more than mastering material—it’s about building confidence, cultivating curiosity, and empowering students to think critically. My goal is to equip each student with the tools and the mindset to tackle challenges independently and succeed far beyond our sessions together.

When I’m not tutoring, you’ll likely find me exploring art museums, swimming, or backpacking. I’m passionate about connecting with people and finding inspiration in the world around me, and I bring that same energy into every session with my students.
