Biography

My passion for education first began in high school when I volunteered to help classmates with math and science. The satisfaction of seeing someone grasp a concept they had been struggling with sparked my interest in tutoring, a passion I’ve carried into my professional life.

I was born and raised in Los Altos, and I earned my Bachelor’s degrees in computer science, statistics, and data science from UC Santa Barbara. Throughout my educational journey, I learned the value of persistence, adaptability, and the importance of a supportive learning environment: all lessons I hope to pass on to my students. I’m particularly passionate about computer science and data science, and I find it rewarding to help students build confidence in these subjects.

In my tutoring, I aim to break down complex topics into manageable parts, use real-world examples to make concepts more relatable, and help students develop their problem-solving skills. My goal is to make learning a positive and empowering experience.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy playing soccer, reading, and going to the gym. These activities keep me grounded and often inspire new ways to approach teaching.
