Biography

Hello! My name is Anusha, and I have witnessed first-hand the key role education can play in transforming lives. My parents gave me wonderful opportunities in life, and I am a UC Davis graduate who studied Cognitive Neuroscience, Philosophy and Religious Studies. As a life-long learner, I believe students should be competitive with their past selves in their pursuit of being the best versions of themselves. Having had students in various contexts: an underserved school in Nepal, juvenile hall, and even through teaching Indian classical music in my own music school, I integrate various teaching methodologies adapted to each student’s needs to identify weaknesses, help students avoid commonly made mistakes, and enhance students’ strengths. My philosophy is that teaching is learning and I let my students guide how to teach every lesson.
