Biography

Ever since I took AP Physics in high school, I’ve been captivated by the art of seeing the world through a physicist’s eyes. It was more than just equations and laws—it was a new way of thinking, a shift that led me to pursue engineering and forever changed how I perceive reality. Yet, many students approach physics as a series of hurdles rather than an invitation to wonder. My goal is not just to teach but to awaken curiosity, to transform the subject from a challenge into a lens through which they see the beauty of motion, forces, and energy all around them. Physics is not just learned—it is experienced, and I strive to make every lesson a gateway to that discovery.

I recently completed my bachelor’s in materials science and engineering at Stanford University with a concentration in bioengineering. In a few years, I intend to attend medical school with a focus on oncological surgery. As a pre-medical, engineering student at a relatively challenging institution, I learned the importance of good study habits alongside a dedicated schedule for learning. As a tutor throughout the years, I saw the direct effect these had on my students time and time again.

These experiences taught me that teaching is not merely the transfer of knowledge but the ignition of curiosity, a dance between wisdom and wonder. The true educator does not simply inform but inspires, shaping an environment where questions bloom like wildflowers and mistakes are stepping stones rather than setbacks. In fostering a space of play, dialogue, and exploration, we cultivate not just learners, but thinkers—architects of the future who see learning not as a burden but as an adventure. The classroom, whether physical or digital, must become a playground of ideas, where laughter and discovery intertwine, ensuring that education remains a force that moves the world forward with joy, creativity, and boundless possibility.

Tutoring is more than just instruction—it’s about creating a personalized, engaging journey that turns challenges into stepping stones for growth. The 1-on-1 format allows me to tailor each session to a student’s unique strengths and weaknesses, ensuring they build confidence while deepening their understanding. I bring lessons to life with live demonstrations and interactive online simulations, transforming abstract concepts into tangible experiences.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, hospital volunteering, and reading about new advancements in cancer treatment.
