Course Description:

We help students with every part of the college application essay process, from brainstorming to final edits. We customize our program for each student, but typically recommend 15 hours as a starting point for completing the Common App personal statement and University of California personal insight questions.

Our college essay coaches help students understand what colleges are really looking for in application essays (hint: it’s not your standard English class essay!). We work with students to choose the essay prompts that are best suited to their background and experience, and help them discover their unique voice through the brainstorming and drafting process. We provide feedback and suggestions on college essays with an eye towards retaining the student’s voice while leveling up the coherence, structure, and grammar of the writing.

We’re happy to support students with their personal statements, UC personal insight questions, supplemental essays, and any other writing required for college admissions or scholarships.

Make the Most of the Summer!
