Goals:

  • Review math fundamentals from last year
  • Preview topics to get ahead for the new school year
  • Design and build a fully playable game showcasing everything students have learned over the course of the week

Course Description:

In this one-week math workshop for middle schoolers, students will review the most important content from the previous year, preview upcoming key concepts, and have fun doing it! We’ll play a variety of fun and collaborative math games and puzzles designed to practice skills including number sense, problem solving, arithmetic, and more. Students who enroll in both the writing workshop and the afternoon math workshop can also stay for a supervised lunch hour from 12:00pm-1:00pm free of charge.
