Anallely Santillan

Biography

I am a passionate educator who has been teaching Spanish and English as a foreign language for 9 years. I have had the great opportunity to work with elementary, middle and high school students in private and public schools. I’m thankful to them due to their enthusiasm, learning curiosity, imagination and energy. They are my motivation to continue being a language teacher. They have taught me to make possible impossible things. They believe in me so I’m ready to help them to achieve their academic goals.

I studied Linguistics and Spanish Literature at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Then I earned a diploma and specialization in teaching Spanish as a foreign language at CEPE UNAM. After a while, I decided to specialize in teaching English as a foreign language (ESL) taking The Anglo Foundation Mexico and Cambridge training courses because I had a great experience with global students at CEPE UNAM. Later, I enrolled in a master’s degree at International House and Cambridge University Program for ESL.

I’m interested in education and linguistics focusing on language acquisition, teaching foreign languages, and cognitive grammar. I also love reading, watching series and walking. I’m excited to be part of AJ tutoring team which promotes meaningful learning with passion, love, compassion, and inspiration.
