Biography

Being born and raised in Palo Alto, I am intimately familiar with the rigorous academic standards and the level of mastery required to excel in the area. I attended Hoover Elementary School, JLS Middle School, and Palo Alto High School. Later, to fulfill my desire to learn more about business and technology, the driving forces of Silicon Valley, I earned my B.S.C. in management information systems from Santa Clara University (SCU). Eager to dive deeper into topics such as cloud computing and machine learning, I spent another year at SCU to earn my Master of Science in business analytics.

A large part of the Santa Clara business culture is doing good for others and being compassionate. With an emphasis on topics like design thinking, empathy was always at the forefront of my college education. I am grateful that I now help kids thrive in the same school system I was a part of just a few years ago.

My passion for teaching began early. I started my first teaching job as a horseback riding instructor the summer before my sophomore year of high school. Since then, I have expanded my teaching to support people of all ages.

I have a particular passion for working with younger students. I strive to foster their natural curiosity and follow a step-by-step approach. Every person has a unique way of learning and conceptualizing new material. I tailor my methods to fit the needs of each student, breaking down complex ideas and gradually building upon them to ensure thorough understanding before introducing more advanced concepts.

At my core, I am an animal lover. In my free time, I enjoy riding and training my horses, caring for my reptiles, and spending time with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Vivian.

Happy Parents and Students

"The most helpful part of my tutoring was her ability to teach. It gets stuck in my brain. She has me practice my skills in fun ways and guess my numeric devices to use"
