Biography

I’m a lifelong learner that loves math and physics, and am excited about how it empowers us to change our world. Through my years of education, I consistently found that I enjoy teaching and sharing this knowledge with others. I am passionate about STEM education and making a positive impact on my community, and I enjoy inspiring people to learn, do, and become more.

I graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and have years of experience in both industry and education. To get there, I had to take on many of the same challenges that high school students face today. Notably, I scored 5 in AP Physics and Calculus, 780 on SAT Math, achieved valedictorian, won robotics championships, and was President of Student Government for 4 years.

Along the way, I had many amazing teachers and mentors that made it possible – they went the extra mile to understand my knowledge and gaps, build a strong foundation, and personally guide me to success in my goals. I always found 1-on-1 educational sessions highly valuable to me, and I am excited to pay that forward here at AJ Tutoring! My favorite part of tutoring is seeing my students become inspired to learn, develop confidence in their skills, and celebrate achieving their goals. I’m excited to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with the next generation of leaders in STEM.

Outside of math and physics, I love playing video games and board games, ranging from competitive tournaments to casually with friends. I also just enjoy mastering random skills – whether it be card magic, solving Rubik’s cubes, or videography – I enjoy learning as much as I can!
