(This event has already occurred. You can watch the video recording below.)

College Admissions Counseling Parent Info Night Webinar Overview

During our virtual college counseling parent night, we’ll walk you through a complete timeline of admissions preparation, from 9th grade all the way to
senior fall when applications are due. We’ll talk about the core elements of a successful application, and we’ll preview what colleges look for in selecting students.

Finally, we’ll wrap up with a Q&A session to ensure that we’ve answered allyour questions.

You’ll walk out of parent night with a solid understanding of:

  • the timeline of college application process from 9th-12th grade
  • what colleges are looking for in applications
  • what students should be doing in 9th and 10th grade to prepare for the application process that begins in earnest junior year
  • an overview of testing and how that fits into college admissions
  • how parents can support their students throughout the process

The college admissions testing landscape can seem more confusing than ever, but don’t worry because we’re here to help!

Our virtual Parent Night is primarily helpful for parents of 9th, 10th, and 11th graders, with a special emphasis on 11th graders, but all parents are welcome.
