Course Description:

The Intro to Algebra 1 summer course is great for any 5th-8th grader who would like to review math topics that will be the foundation for all future math classes. We adjust the content and pacing to match the student’s goals and needs.

We emphasize important core concepts and intuitive explanations for students who may be struggling. On the other hand, we emphasize rapid progression to more challenging topics for students who are trying to advance quickly.

By the end of the course, the student will have learned all the concepts typically taught in an Algebra 1 class in school, as well as some topics relevant for Geometry. Depending on parent and student goals and needs, we can adjust homework assignments and course hours. Students can expect to show up each week to an enjoyable AJ environment where their tutor will encourage their motivation and hard work by good vibes and positivity.

Make the Most of the Summer!
